Disney Jake and The Never Land Pirates Jake and Izzy Costumes

Jake and the Never Land Pirates is the animated Disney production aimed at pre-school children. Dress-up costumes are now available for both the Jake and the Izzy characters, who are part of the three main characters in the show.

Jake and Izzy costumes can make your child's play activites seem all the more real, as they act out the parts from their favorite TV show.

Not yet mainstream, Jake and Izzy costumes are quite hard to find, so you can be sure that your kids will stand out in a crowd.

Jake and the Never Land Pirates is a spin off series from the popular Disney movie classic, Peter Pan, and features many of the same characters as well as some new ones.

Jake

Jake is a boy pirate and the leader of his gang of three which includes Izzy and Cubby too. He has a wooden sword given to him by Peter Pan himself, and a spyglass.

Captain Cook is forever tormenting Jake, but Jake always gets the upper hand despite his being a lot smaller, lighter and younger.

The Jake costume is a 3 piece and includes:

• a clue waistcoat with yellow lookalike buttons and trim
• a white T-shirt with suede crossover below neck, as in the cartoon picture above
• red tie-on pirate headband

It is available in 4 different sizes from age 2 - 6.

The waiscoat can also be purchased separately.

Izzy

Izzy is a little girl pirate who is described as being bright and creative.

Her special powers come from her Pixie Dust which she keeps in a little fairy pouch in a string around her neck.

The Pixie Dust has special powers and was given to her by Tinkerbell, and is only used on rare occasions.

All you need for the Izzy costume is a

• pink frilly top and blue trousers
• accessory set of pink bandanna with white trim
• gold glitter star stick-on earrings
• a yellow fairy pouch decorated with gold doubloons and a ribbon strap

Your little girl (or baby) will love dressiing up in this Izzy costume where she gets to wear her everyday clothes too.

She will have lots of fun with her own very special Pixie Dust fairy bag which she won't lose because it is tied round her neck.

Alternatively, it should be relatively easy to turn an old jewelry pouch into a very special fairy pouch, add a pink headband and sew on the white detail, and match it up with a pink top, blue pants and a pair of boots.

Cubby

Cubby is the youngest member of the Jake and the Never Land Pirates crew, but certainly not the least important. Cubby has a set of maps to say where hidden treasure is, and isn't that just what pirates are lookiing for?

No-one has brought out a ready-made costume for Cubby yet.
